Hi Ladies! Eufalda is the leading organization to serve the Flight Dispatchers all over Europe. Eufalda’s main concern is to keep up and further improve the high professional standards of aviation safety within Europe. www.eufalda.org [1] Every year we’ve semi-annual meeting (in September or October) and annual meeting (in May). This time we were at Helsinki. Actually it’s held on a cruise ship Helsinki to Stockholm. It’s marvelous. (Except to learn what “sea-sick” means!!!) I had the chance to talk about our new organization: AWE - Aviation and Women In Europe. I mentioned about our first meeting in Trento. Of course I invited the others to our next meeting. Also I gave them our web-site address www.aweu.org [2] We were 3(three) female dispatcher’s at the meeting. Myself, Aleksandra Pejicic and Ljiljana Savic from JAT Airways. They’re from Belgrade, Serbia& Montenegro. Aleksandra is also one of the e-member of our AWEU web site. Matthias Durbeck (Treasurer of EUFALDA) promised me to put some info about us in EUFALDA’s on line magazine STRATUS. I didn’t forget to take pictures! Take a look at the Gallery [3]. |
